At time of writing, due to the current crisis, hand sanitizer is hard to find, but did you know you can easily make your own home-made, natural hand rub? This could be useful for future crisis situations as well, as it is likely to run out again. Follow this simple guide.
Ingredients:
- 2/3 of a cup of rubbing alcohol
- 1/3 of a cup of aloe vera
- 10 drops of anti-microbal essential oils such as lavender oil or tea-tree oil (optional but recommended)
Then mix in a clean container. Store it in a bottle. Done! Don’t forget, washing your hands carefully is even more effective than hand sanitizer!
